Pumpkins and Dress Up

We have had one sick little girl this week! She has had an ear infection and bronchilitis...a lot for a 10 week old baby! Other than a really terrible sounding cough you wouldn't know it though. She has still been smiling away, sleeping good and eating good- as you can tell, yes 13 pounds!! We are so thankful to have Dr. Smith take care of our children. I really can't say enough great things about him, both professionally and personally. Thanks to him we caught this in time before it turned into pneumonia and are now hopefully on the mend. We got Emma out for the first time today and had a little pumpkin fun- what a beautiful day! We all needed the time out, especially Jack. He's gotten really bored this week watching me play dress up with Emma. When you have a sick little one, it definitely makes you stop taking for granted all of the small everyday occurences in your child's life. Something that you sometimes find annoying at 2am, such as a cry, suddenly becomes a sound of peace and comfort~! How thankful we are for our healthy, happy babies!!!

The progression of our dress up started here...

I think we have a flower that matches!!

Oh wait, lets add the tutu!!

Emma's favorite activity is watching her mobile (It was Jack's too!)!! She watches it several songs through!!:))

This is how she sleeps- It helps her acid reflux!! Thank you Nap Nanny!!

My MeMe can't get enough of me!!

The Day of Pumpkins

I think I'll take this one!

Jack turns everything into a drum!!

Pumpkin decorating at church this afternoon was so much fun!! Emma and I stood back and watched the creative juices flow!

The finished products!! Good job guys!!:))

...And we can't forget our trip to the fair!!

Oh yes, I was able to get out and have a little fun too- Thanks Mom!!! What a fun night celebrating Tiffany's birthday with friends at Easily Amused!!
