Music Time!!

Jack and I have been going to music, "Kindermusik", once a week since January. At our first class Mrs. Thornell asked the children to come and get an instrument out of the basket, take an instrument to their mom, sit and watch patiently while everyone had a turn to play their instrument and then return the instruments to the basket. All of this to toddlers!! I thought there was no way in the world we were ready for something like this! I started watching and all of the children, including Jack, were following her instructions! I was amazed!! As each week has progressed, I have watched them all learn how to share (sometimes too much), learn how to sit patiently and wait, learn how to follow instructions and learn lots of fun songs and dances while playing some sort of "instrument". Not to mention, we have made lots of great friends as well. It has really been such a fun, fun experience!! What I first thought was going to be a disaster has turned out to be such a great thing!

The Easter Bunny Came!

Easter was a little different for us this year! I was in the bed all weekend with the stomach virus, so needless to say we don't have too many pictures of Jack on Easter morning. Thank goodness we were already in Belzoni when I got sick, so that I could have help from mom and dad, because Bryan was sick also. This is the one and only picture I have from him at an egg hunt we went to on Saturday. I'm still hoping Tiffany got a good shot of him on Easter day in his precious Easter outfit. If so, I'll post it later!! We're just thankful we are all ok now and just because mommy and daddy weren't able to be around on Easter Day, we all know what Easter is really all about!

How did my baby become a big boy so fast??

His blankie is never too far from him!!

It's amazing how time just slips by. I am becoming more aware of that daily just by watching Jack grow so much!! He simply amazes us with all that he learns everyday! He can plainly tell you what he wants and what he doesn't want. He now knows his colors and shapes, loves building with his blocks, he sits down and reads his books outloud as if he knows how to read, and is beginning to pick out letters of the alphabet. Not to mention, he is the funniest, sweetest thing in the world:) I think I've been trying to rush things along lately because of the pregnancy, but I am now ready to take a step back, slow down, and just enjoy it all! These years are priceless!!
