The Great Pumpkin Hunt

What a fun time we had picking out pumpkins!! Jack had no idea what in the world they were... he must have asked 50 times, "what's that?"!! I guess it's time to read some pumpkin books! They were as big, and some even bigger, than he is. He had so much fun running through the pumpkins and we, along everyone else around, had a ball watching him. Fall is definitely in the air!

Wow, a lot has happened since I started this blog! Jack is at such a fun age- I'm sure we'll say that at every age though! We are having so much fun playing and running around outside these days, thanks to the cooler weather. He amazes us everyday!! He has a pretty expansive vocabulary for someone who just turned 15 months old. Some of his (and our) favorites are mama, dada, bye-bye, light, what's that, Papaw, who's that, doggie, ball, and of course, elephant. Poor thing, now he has more elephant clothing and pajamas than I ever envisioned us having! Ha!! He can also point out most animals in any book and lots of objects like an airplane, whenever he sees them. What a complete joy it is to be able to spend my days with him, and watch this fascinating life unfold before my eyes!!
